Joanne Howard, MSN, RN, CPNP

Nurse Practitioner

Joanne is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined Endocrine Kids in December 2020 as the Director of the Health and Nutrition Direction (HAND) Pathway. Joanne earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Rutgers University in 2007 and graduated from Wayne State University in 2012 with a master of science in nursing. She holds the following national certifications from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care and Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist. She was presented with the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award by Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2017.

Empowering young people and their families to lead healthy lifestyles is Joanne’s passion. She especially enjoys working with teenagers to meet their unique healthcare needs.

Bethann Keska

Medical Assistant

As our medical assistant, Bethann is an integral part of our office staff. She came to us with more than 10 years of medical assistant experience. You may see her in our office greeting and checking in patients, as well as performing clinical duties, such as collecting vital signs and obtaining preliminary medical information from patients and their families. She will be happy to assist in making your visit with Dr. Bishop an enjoyable one!

Elizabeth Traison, RDN

Registered Dietician

Liz joined the Endocrine Kids team in 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and completed a post-baccalaureate and didactic verification at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Beaumont, Royal Oak. Before joining Endocrine Kids, she worked as a clinical dietitian at Beaumont, Dearborn and Vibra Hospital at DMC. She spent a lot of that time working with patients with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes to meet their health goals and optimize their nutrition.

Liz is currently working towards becoming a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). She joins the team with nearly a decade of experience as a nutrition educator working with children and their families to meet their health goals.

Cindy Fasano

Receptionist

We are thrilled to have Cindy as our receptionist. Her medical office experience and people skills make our patients and their families feel at home in our office. Cindy will answer many of your phone calls, schedule your appointment, help verify your insurance information, and answer any questions you may have about our office.
